Welcome to Frontier Studios! We are thrilled to have you as part of our community. Please take a moment to review the following Terms & Conditions.
Enrolment
Ensure you have completed and signed your registration paperwork. It is essential to keep your contact information current. Add our emails (getupanddance.au@gmail.com & info@frontierstudios.au) to your contact list to avoid important updates landing in your spam folder. In case of an emergency, you will be contacted via the mobile number provided. Once you’ve submitted your information, please make your enrolment payment to secure your child’s spot in their chosen class/es.
At Frontier Studios, enrolment is a yearly commitment. Dance and performing arts require time and consistency to master. Changes to or additions of subjects during the year are subject to the Directors’ discretion. Once enrolled, subjects are locked in for the term and must be paid for in advance. Students remain in the same class level for the year, ensuring consistent development.
The Directors reserve the right to terminate enrolment at any time, at their discretion.
Code of Conduct
Frontier Studios maintains a strict no-bullying policy.
We are not responsible for students before or after scheduled classes. Parents must ensure prompt drop-offs and pickups. For emergencies or delays, please inform the studio promptly.
Frontier Studios is not liable for stolen or misplaced property. Avoid bringing valuables to the studio.
In co-parenting situations, two email addresses can be used for communication. However, co-payment arrangements must be managed privately. The parent enrolling the student is responsible for payments.
Safety
Notify staff if someone other than the listed guardian will pick up the student.
All teachers hold current Blue Cards and First Aid Certification.
Uniform
Uniforms are available at reception. Students must adhere to the uniform policy to participate in class/es. Please check the Class Descriptions for specific requirements.
Communication Policy
Frontier Studios values clear and professional communication.
Parents are prohibited from contacting teachers directly outside of business hours or via social media.
All inquiries should be directed to the administration via email or phone at 0424 868 161 during office hours.
Payment Policy
Invoices are sent before the start of each term, with fees due by the first Saturday of the term.
Invoices are calculated by a 10-week term and do not carry over to another term.
Payment methods include bank transfer, in-studio payment via Square (1.6% surcharge), or cash.
Costume fees must be fully paid before costumes can be taken home.
Refund Policy
At Frontier Studios, we have a strict no refunds or credits policy. Any exceptions are at the sole discretion of the Frontier Studios Directors. This policy ensures consistency and fairness for all students and helps us maintain the quality of our programs.
Please note that once term fees are paid, they are non-refundable. We encourage you to carefully select your classes, as we are unable to offer refunds if you change your mind mid-term. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
Class Cancellations
Frontier Studios reserves the right to cancel classes due to unforeseen events. Cancellations do not guarantee refunds or credits unless specified by the administration.
Make-Up Classes Policy
At Frontier Studios, we prioritize the consistent progress and learning experience of our students. In the event of sickness or injury, all students are entitled to receive two make-up lessons per term. To request a make-up lesson beyond the allocated two, students must provide a valid medical certificate.
Make-up lessons can be requested through our website or by contacting Frontier Studios administration directly. Please note that make-up lessons are subject to availability and must be scheduled in advance. We appreciate your cooperation in following these procedures to ensure smooth scheduling and attendance for all students. Make-up lessons will not be offered in Term 4 2025 due to concert preparation. Students are encouraged to attend all scheduled classes to ensure consistent progress.
Class Levels
Class levels are based on the student’s age as of January 1st. The Directors will use their discretion to assign students to the appropriate age group and skill level, ensuring that each student is placed in a class that best suits their abilities and development needs. Students are expected to remain in the same class for the entire year.
Photo and Video Release & Consent
Upon enrollment at Frontier Studios, parents or guardians must indicate whether their child is allowed to appear on social media and in advertising. Consent must be explicitly given. If you change your mind, you must notify us in writing via email to administration. For students’ safety, Students under 16 years old will not have their names published online.
Please note that photos and videos are not permitted to be taken during class times. Additionally, you must obtain consent from Frontier Studios teachers or staff members if you wish to post a photo or video of them online.
Studio Etiquette
Students may not be in studio rooms without a teacher present.
Parents must seek permission to enter studio rooms.
Students are prohibited from using equipment without teacher supervision.
For the safety of all students, unauthorized individuals are not allowed on site or to enter any room at will. Additionally, students are not allowed to play with any acrobatics equipment, props, or touch any other equipment without the teacher’s knowledge.
CCTV Policy
For the safety and security of our students, staff, and visitors, Frontier Studios utilizes CCTV cameras in common areas and entrances. These cameras are in place to monitor and ensure a safe environment for everyone on the premises. Please note that recorded footage is securely stored and may only be accessed by authorized personnel in the event of an incident.
The use of CCTV complies with relevant privacy and data protection laws. If you have any questions or concerns about our CCTV usage, please contact the administration team for further information.
Property Damage Policy
At Frontier Studios, we strive to provide a safe and welcoming environment for all students, staff, and visitors. We expect everyone to respect and care for our facilities and equipment. In the event of any property damage caused by a student or visitor, the responsible party will be held accountable for the repair or replacement costs.
We encourage open communication regarding any accidental damages that may occur. Please report any incidents of property damage to Frontier Studios administration immediately. We appreciate your cooperation in maintaining the integrity and quality of our studio spaces.
Termination of Enrolment Policy
If you wish to terminate your enrollment at Frontier Studios, please submit your request in writing. This can be done by emailing our administration team. We require written notice to process and confirm the termination of enrollment. Please note that termination requests will be effective as of the date of receipt of the written notice.
Upon termination of enrollment, any outstanding fees or obligations must be settled according to our Payment Policy. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding in adhering to these procedures for a smooth transition.
The directors of Frontier Studios reserve the right to terminate enrollment at their discretion, at any time and for any reason without prior warning.
Watch Weeks
Watch Weeks occur only in Term 1 and Term 2. These are opportunities for families to observe their child’s progress.
First Aid Consent
By enrolling, parents/guardians consent to first aid/CPR administration in emergencies. Emergency contacts will be notified promptly.
Liability Waiver
By enrolling, you acknowledge the inherent risks of dance and performing arts activities and release Frontier Studios from liability for injuries or accidents.
By completing the enrolment process, you agree to the above Terms & Conditions.
